Heavy Rotation

I haven't played a rap album this much in an absolute age but Cadence Weapon's Afterparty Babies is just fantastic. As a dance head it probably helps that it is more of a dance-rap album than a full on hip-hop album. Whatever it is it really bounces and I have had it on heavy rotation for weeks. You know an album is going to be good when it starts with the words

“My dad said I was an after party baby. This goes out to all the accidents out there. Keep on making mistakes”

My personal favourite tracks are Real Estate and Unsuccessful Club Nights which give you a little taster of the musical style.
